Didim Akvaryum Bay – General Information

📍 Location: A natural and peaceful bay located in the Didim district of Aydın province. It is usually about 15-20 km from the center of Didim, situated in an area surrounded by nature.
🏞️ Nature and Sea: The bay gets its name from its clear, deep blue waters, which are so clean that many fish can be seen. The sea is quite calm and wave-free, making it ideal for swimming and especially snorkeling. Due to its rich underwater life, it is called “Akvaryum” (Aquarium).
🌿 Surroundings: The bay has largely preserved its natural state, with dense vegetation and maquis shrublands around it. It is a perfect getaway spot for those seeking a quiet environment away from crowds.
