Didim Sarıkum Beach – 

📍 Location:
Sarıkum Beach is a hidden and untouched beach located about 7 km from Didim town center. It can be accessed via a dirt road near the Mavişehir/Denizli Öğretmenler Site (Teachers’ Housing Complex).

💸 Entry & Facilities:

Entrance is completely free, but the beach lacks many amenities such as showers, toilets, or sunbeds/umbrellas. While some sources mention the occasional small kiosk or a few sunbeds, in general, there are no regular facilities, so it's best to bring everything you need with you.

🌿 Nature & Atmosphere:

Sarıkum is known for its fine golden sand and crystal-clear water. The surrounding forested areas are ideal for hiking, camping, barbecuing, and even making a campfire. It is a peaceful and ideal spot for camping enthusiasts and nature lovers.

• Sea:
  Calm, shallow, and clear in the morning, but can become wavy in the afternoon. There may be rocky areas at the entrance, but it transitions into a sandy bottom as you go further in. Water shoes are recommended.
• Sand:
  Very fine and golden – giving the beach a striking tropical-like appearance.

The forest around the beach offers chances for nature walks, snorkeling, and fishing – especially around the rocks on the right side of the beach.

  Best accessed by private car. If using public transport, take a minibus to Mavişehir, and then walk around 5–10 minutes to the beach. Be cautious on the dirt road leading to the shore.
